Arnold Geerdts has come a long way since his first job selling newspapers, though he never completely got out of the world of newspapers. As a journalist, Arnold's career highlights include two SAB Journalist merit awards, five Comrades broadcasts, the Barcelona Olympics, South Africa's 92 / 93 cricket tour to Australia and anchoring Supersport.

A keen runner and golf enthusiast, Andre is a Comrades Marathon silver medallist and has run 175 marathons and ultras to date.
