ROCCO DE VILLIERS


Well-known pianist, musical director and composer Rocco de Villiers has put together an instrumental stage show as both pianist and entertainer/cocktail maker. Roctails the show was created to accompany his recent book launch about cocktails, also called Roctails.

"this is not much different to what I was doing as a child making drinks for my parents' guests at home and then entertain them with my piano playing… I was a legend in my own lounge at the age of 6", says de Villiers.

Rocco and guitarist Juan Oosthuizen perform on stage and, apart from great cocktails you can expect music ranging from well known Afrikaans tunes to sexy Latin dance music as well as Rocco's own jazzy compositions. Roctails is a unique blend of music and spirit. It is about toasting, enjoying music with friends, sharing memories but most of all about pleasure!
